Condemns London Attacks
The Federation of Student Islamic Societies (FOSIS) is extremely disturbed by the attacks which hit London transport links this morning.
We are extremely saddened by the extent of injuries and deaths that this has caused.
Fosis President Wakkas Khan commented, "...We continue to condemn in no uncertain terms all such cowardly acts of violence."
We would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of Muslim students to offer our support and assistance to the emergency services who have reacted swiftly and efficiently.

At the time it’s a great and unique chance for all elites and reformists to re-organise themselves and form a national movement/ party. We have quite limited time to bring these people under this umbrella. As health professionals, I think we must play a historical social and professional role: the elected president has pledged a lot, mainly to improve the life status of under-privileged and poor people; we must remind him and his administration in a well-organised, continuous, periodic and scientific way what he had pledged and what are the correct and pragmatic ways to reach the goals. He will not have any problem like continuous 9-day crisis, and so on and he has also the support from other sources of power like the parliament, judiciary, GC, military. In this case the current status of life for Iranians will improve, he will be obliged not to forget his promises, and overall situation will be more ready for proposing and highlighting higher needs, which are democracy, freedom and human rights. This procedure could be done in any other professions as well.
